Expert representation begins long before you enter a courtroom.

Family and criminal proceedings often turn on decisions that cannot easily be undone. How you respond to an allegation, whether to negotiate or contest, when to concede a point and when to hold it — those early choices frequently decide the outcome long before anyone stands up in court.

My role is not confined to advocacy on the day of the hearing. It begins with understanding your case properly, identifying what is genuinely at stake, and advising you on the options in front of you and the reasoning behind each one.

The best lawyer does not simply act for you — they work with you.

You should feel heard, informed and genuinely involved in your own case. I will explain what is happening, why it is happening and what I recommend — in language you can act on rather than legal shorthand.

Proceedings of this kind become emotional, and understandably so. Part of my job is to stay calm and objective when a case is anything but, and to make sure the next step is a considered one rather than a reaction. Good decisions are informed decisions, and informed decisions produce better outcomes.
